2017 VALOR Tailgate & Resource Fair

All new and returning VALOR Students (veterans, service members, dependents, and their families) are invited to this year's VALOR Tailgate & Resource Fair. This will be a great time to meet other VALOR Students, network with organizations supporting veterans, gain a better understanding of your VA benefits, and learn more about GW.

August 25th, 2017

2:00-3:30pm: Main Orientation & Benefit Information Session

Location: School of Media and Public Affairs, Room B07, 805 21st Street NW Washington, DC 20052

Learn the process of using your VA benefits here at GW to ensure that there are no hiccups down the road in the processing of your benefits. This session will answer most of your questions like: is the BAH rate? What is the certification processs like? When will my tuition bill be paid by the VA? How does the book stipend work? Do I need to apply for yellow ribbon every year?

4:00-6:00pm: Tailgate & Resource Fair

Location: University Yard, Across from the School of Media and Public Affairs (click here for a map of campus)

Join the VALOR community for a tailgate and resource fair! There will be food and it will be an excellent opportunity to network and meet many other VALOR students here at GW. We will also have many resources available like the GW Center for Career Services, GW Veterans Student Organization, and other organizations from the community that are here for you.

To ensure we have enough food and beverages, please RSVP by August 4, 2017:
