GW VALOR Travel Award Program
Through the generosity of GW Trustee Mark Shenkman and to further support GW VALOR Online students, an award focused on travel funds has been established to bring eligible VALOR Students participating in online GW degree programs to campus in order to connect and interact with industry professionals and employers at specific events. An additional benefit of this campus visit will be the opportunity for students to meet with a career coach, faculty, GW VALOR staff, and tour the main GW campus.

Startup Career Fair - 3/1/17 (Apply by 2/15/17)
The GW Startup Career Fair (formerly the GW Startup Career Expo) is a partnership of the George Washington University and other local universities. Some of the hottest startups and along with hundreds of the most entrepreneurial students from the greater DC area gather to network for internships and job opportunities.
Public Health & Health Services Career Fair - 3/28/17 (Apply by 2/15/17)
The Milken Institute School of Public Health organizes an annual career fair in which representatives from government, non-profit, international, and private organizations will be on campus to discuss job, internship, fellowship, and volunteer opportunities.
The Pitch - 4/1/17 (Apply by 3/15/17)
The Pitch is an interview competition for veteran students to practice interview and business skills with employers and professional coaches. It involves a day long, three part process of designing and refining your “pitch”. Students can win cash prizes and learn valuable skills for the employment market!
